Communication, Information & Media Cell is the media body of the college. We are associated with our own media partner “UTTARAN BANGLA”.

CULTURALACTIVITIES

Cultural activities like recitation, debate, quiz, songs, dances, extempore etc are performed in different occasions like annual cultural program teachers’ day etc.

ANTI RAGGING CELL

Ragging is strictly prohibited. Ragging is a cognizable offence under the law, at par with rape and other atrocities against women and ill treatment of persons belonging to the SC/ST.

E-LEARNIG

The PURBASTHALI-1 GOVERNMENT ITI under GSSSS has started E- learning for students pursuing ITI, Polytechnic, B.Ed and Skill/vocational training classes due the lock down situation.

DERSS MAKING

DERSS MAKING


This program is dedicated to teaching the students about crafts and sewing techniques. In the one-year duration, the students learn all about basic sewing, designing, cutting, and related skills required to enter the textile industry.
COMPUTER OPERATOR & PROGRAMMING ASSISTANT

COMPUTER OPERATOR & PROGRAMMING ASSISTANT


Students will learn about programming and computer operations in this short vocational training program. After completing the course, trainees can join the IT department as CNC programmers, session operators, or data analyzers.
PLUMBER

PLUMBER


If you are interested in repairing, fitting, maintaining, testing, surveying, installing, water supplying equipment of domestic appliances, company, agriculture.
FITTER

FITTER


This 2-years program is for interested candidates is divided into semesters as a short-term professional course. The trainees learn about the fitting mechanisms for various structures and machines and the general information.
WELDER

WELDER


This short course has a 1-year duration in which a complete skill set and communication skills are taught to trainees. The fundamentals include welding principles, cutting, and blazing, after which candidates can find work in the professional field.
ELECTRICIAN

ELECTRICIAN


The 2-years electrician course is a complete training including the core skills like calculation, employability, and engineering drawing. Trainees also learn about their respective job roles and outcomes.
MECHANIC DIESEL

MECHANIC DIESEL


ITI Mechanic Diesel is a 1-year vocational training programme which teaches the students about various aspects of diesel engine such as making alignments & adjustments, correcting deficiencies in vehicles, maintaining pieces of equipment operating in diesel etc.
SURVEYOR

SURVEYOR


The course features communication techniques, information collection, and related skills required for conducting productive surveys. This training has a duration of 2 years.
MOTOR MECHANIC VEHICLE

MOTOR MECHANIC VEHICLE


is a two-year vocational programme where the students are taught about major overhauling, repairing and servicing skills of motor vehicles like buses, trucks, cars, motorcycle/scooter etc.

As explained by the title, the students learn the basic technical fixes and a comprehensive understanding of the machines. This vocation program is also two years long.
